Two fires.

Twin glazed fires flank a central TV, linked by a long dark hearth.
The completed fireplace feature, with the television centred between two corner gas fires.

Made for the architecture.

This fireplace feature forms part of a multi-million-pound new-build home in Lytham, designed by award-winning architect Ben Jurin. Two chimney breasts frame the television, with a corner gas fire at the base of each and a continuous dark shelf bringing the composition together.

The paired fires give the feature its distinctive symmetry. Between the chimney breasts, textured Venetian plaster creates a contrasting backdrop for the screen. The long floating Dekton shelf provides a clean horizontal line across the two fires and the central wall.

The materials and construction.

The installation features two balanced-flue DRU Maestro corner gas fires, supplied by The Fireplace Superstore. Steel-frame construction and fire-protection boarding sit behind the finished surfaces.

The pale chimney breasts, textured centre panel and dark Dekton shelf each have a distinct role in the finished design. Together they create a fireplace feature that sits within the architecture of the room, with space for the television between the two fires.
